I wasn't expecting much out of a quick lunch right off the National Mall-- really I just wanted to avoid the Museum food. But my sandwich here (Empire State) was SO good! And the staff was friendly and no wait. Just a really pleasant experience on an otherwise hectic day. The ambiance could use a little work, but I get the feeling most people take their food to go anyway.

The line was out the door, so I was curious. I decided to go in to look at the menu, and it drew me further in. This is an old fashioned, walk the line, tell' em what you want, deli, and it did not disappoint! I got a turkey and ham sub sandwich, the bread was fresh, the ingredients plentiful and the service quick and polite! What more can you ask for a workday lunch?

Had the Bronx. Pastrami corned beef Swiss and thousand island on rye. Over all not a bad taste. Bread was to be toasted but more just warm no crispness to it. Service was quick and friendly after the line at lunch. No frills place. Limited choices but from what I saw they did their options well.

First time in DC. This shop is very close to the hotel we were staying at. We loved the croissants here and had them almost everyday. My sons go to breakfast is mcdonalds. He preferred this croissant with mcdonalds being next door.

Their service was quick and the staff are nice. The ingredients are fresh. The only down side was the dining area, the trash was overflowing in the bin and there was an odd smell. If I come here again I'd probably get it to go and have a picnic someplace.

There's no shortage of good delis in Washington, D.C.- Carl's Subbs, Mother Rucker's, Mangialardo's, among others. 2 Sisters Deli may not stand with the giants, but it's a worthy contender, especially for a no-frills deli in an office building. Surrounded by government buildings, it's one of the few places to grab a good local lunch that's not a chain. Stopping in for lunch, here's my experience. 1) Food: The line is long, but it moves quickly during lunch with so many people taking orders. Know what you want so you can order right when they ask. They sell classic sandwiches, specialty sandwiches, melts, and wraps. I ordered the Wall Street Club without tomato and it was good. It comes cut in half and was the perfect amount of food. I added a fountain drink and chips (Sun Chips). 2) Drinks: There's coffee, bottled drinks, and a Pepsi soda fountain. 3) Service: It's quick and no time for conversation, but it was a good experience. 4) Space: It's no-frills and there are a few tables with chairs in the back if you're one of the few who don't get your sandwich to go.

Fast, nice staff, fair priced, generously sized, delicious! I got a croissant sandwich with turkey sausage and there was a huge sausage patty and plenty of scrambled egg and cheese on the crispy croissant. Inside isn't much of a sit down place though, so I got mine to go.

We needed a quick service lunch place after visiting the Air & Space Museum and 2 sisters looked good so we decided to check it out! There was a line wrapping through the shop so we knew it had to be good. I decided to go with the Wall Street Club and it was a solid choice. I wish the bread was not toasted but everything else was great. We sat right in the shop and got to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the little shop. Definitely recommend checking out 2 Sisters!
